Research

As a key part of the Agile Nation project, research will be undertaken to further support the work of the project and to identify gaps in knowledge which may be resulting in barriers to women’s economic progression in Wales

All research undertaken will complement the objectives of the project by meeting one or several of the following criteria:
  • Development of actions with partners to remove barriers to full participation in learning and employment opportunities
  • Support  for employers, learning providers and others to promote diversity and non-traditional career paths to women
  • Work with educators to tackle gender stereotyping in work-based learning, training and vocational programmes
  • Help promote work-life balance and female employee recruitment and retention consequentially

The research will be commissioned to external organisations with expertise in the identified subject areas and managed by the Agile Nation project.
